By providing the public with a live stream of the ceremony, AP will allow those who can’t physically be at the ceremony to pay their final respects to Whitney before she’s buried.

The funeral will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, where Whitney used to sing as a child, with her eulogy being delivered by Grammy Winner and long-time family friend Marvin Winans. After the funeral, she will be buried at Fair View Cemetery in Westfield, N.J., the same place where her father was buried in 2003.

In addition to being broadcast on several television networks, the live stream will be available for free online at http://www.livestream.com/aplive.

Surprisingly, the episode (as well as the cover) was actually planned by ‘Glee’ producers long before Houston’s death, but following the news of the loss they made the decision to dedicate the episode to the late star, ending the episode with a short caption: “Whitney Houston 1963-2012. We will always love you.”

Watch a video of Riley’s performance here and let us know if you think she did the song justice.

In the spirit of single guy’s everywhere with nothing better to do on Valentine’s Day, we present you with our top five picks for the hottest female TV characters:

5. Rebecca Madsen
Actress Sarah Jones toned down her sexiness a bit to play Detective Rebecca Madsen in Fox’s Alcatraz. Maybe she’s trying to appear more professional, but there’s nothing hotter than a girl who knows how to take control.

4. Ann Perkins

Sure, she’s kind of nerdy and she doesn’t exactly dress to impress, but there’s just something about Rashida Jones’ character from NBC’s Parks & Recreation that makes this editor’s head spin.

3. Karen Cartwright

The new NBC smash hit Smash comes complete with plenty of hot actresses, but none overshadow leading lady Catherine McPhee. She can sing, she can dance; the only thing she can’t do is get out of our minds.

2. Elena Gilbert
Not much needs to be said of this sexy vampire from the CW’s Vampire Diaries, played by Nina Dobrey. She’s got the whole package and then some, not to mention the fact that she could rip you limb from limb at any moment.

1. Daenerys Targaryen
Anyone who caught the first season of HBO’s Game of Thrones couldn’t help but fall in love with this fair-haired Dothraki princess, played by Emilia Clarke. Sure she’s drop-dead sexy, but what really puts her in the #1 spot is the fact that she’s not afraid to get down and dirty.

Last night was another record night for FreeCast as we joined the rest of America in enjoying the magic of the GRAMMYs. It was a delight to bring our many users the chance to watch the day’s GRAMMY celebrations and events live via Facebook courtesy of GRAMMY LIVE! And CBS, and throughout the course of the day we received thousands of registrations from music fans all around the country who wanted to join in on the party.

What many viewers don’t know is that the actual GRAMMY award ceremony begins well before the live television coverage, so the majority of the night’s awards are given off-camera, with more of the broadcast’s emphasis being put on the live performances. But thanks to the live stream provided by CBS and the GRAMMYs, this year’s viewers got the privilege of seeing behind the curtain and getting a more complete GRAMMY experience. It was great to see all of the awards and interviews we usually miss via the online broadcast, and this is why we were so excited to give Facebook users a behind-the-scenes look into the action with the Freecast app.

Although we were happy to bring our users the extra screen during the night’s events and the alternate coverage of the earlier awards presentations, unfortunately some media outlets and blogs may have misled the public as to the nature of the GRAMMY LIVE! coverage. At no point did CBS or the GRAMMYs insinuate that the online coverage would broadcast the official television ceremony, but this is what some internet users had come to believe based on what they had read on certain online news outlets.

We at FreeCast hope that this confusion wasn’t what drove people to register at our site, as we made it clear that GRAMMY LIVE! would provide alternative coverage only, which in this editor’s opinion was more about the actual GRAMMY awards than the live performances shown later on TV.

With that said, we’d like to thank everyone who joined us for last night’s coverage, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

GRAMMY Weekend is usually a time for celebration in Hollywood and around the country, but this year the celebration was overshadowed by the bitter loss of one of the greatest singers in the last century. On February 11, 2012, pop icon Whitney Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills with her head submerged in the bathtub. She had been expected to attend Clive Davis’ pre-GRAMMY Awards party that same night.

According to TMZ, Houston’s family was told by county officials that she did not die from drowning but actually from a mix of Xanax and other drugs in combination with alcohol. Evidently, there was not enough water in Houston’s lungs to support the theory that she had died of drowning, and in fact she may have died before her head had ever become submerged. Her recent visits to Beverly Hills doctors combined with pill bottles found in her room help to support this assertion.

TMZ goes on to report that it was Mary Jones, Whitney’s aunt, who discovered the pop singer’s body in the bathtub. Upon finding her neice, Mary pulled the body out of the bathtub and began administering CPR, but it was already too late.

Our hearts go out to Whitney’s family and loved ones. We hope that she will be remembered for the good that she did in this world, and not for the darker times she faced later in life.
