In addition to educating the public about the benefits of using Rabbit TV, the site will also be devoted to keeping you up-to-date with Rabbit TV news & developments, including new features, additions, and changes, as well as new projects being undertaken by the Rabbit TV team.
In the first quarter (Q1) of 2013, the Pay TV industry has lost an estimated 260,000 subscribers (according to the Leichtman Research Group). This loss was felt in the cable industry in particular, with Satellite TV and phone providers experiencing a slight gain on their own (though much less than in previous years).
This Q1 drop in Pay TV subscribers is especially remarkable given the fact that this is usually the time when the industry experiences the most growth. To put it in perspective, the Pay TV industry added about 445,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2012, but even with the slight increases seen in satellite and phone subscribers, this year’s Q1 increase reached a meager 194,000.
Now Rabbit TV users can keep track of their favorite shows by adding them to their ‘My Favorites’ page.
To add shows to your favorites, just click ‘Add to favorites’ at the top of any Rabbit TV show page. All of your favorites will be stored in ‘My Favorites’ for quick on-click access. To view your favorites at any time, mouse over ‘Members’ in your Rabbit TV toolbar and select ‘My Favorites’.

For our Spanish-speaking users, we’ve added a page where you can quickly browse Spanish-language programming, including on-demand TV shows from Telemundo and Univision as well as popular Spanish-language movies. We’re also working on a new Spanish Movies section (Películas en Español), which will let you browse our selection of free movies in Spanish.
To get to the ‘Programas En Español’, just mouse over ‘TV’ in your Rabbit TV Toolbar, roll over ‘TV Shows’ and click ‘En Español’ from the dropdown menu.
Netflix has finally overtaken cable networks in viewership, according to a recent study by BTIG Research.
Richard Greenfield of BTIG Research recently came to the conclusion that Netflix users are spending over 87 minutes a day streaming video using the popular web-based subscription service. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that Netflix subscribers spent more than 4 billion hours on the site collectively over the last year.
According to Greenfield, if you consider Netflix to be a cable network, it would be the most-watched cable network in the world, with its top competitor being the Disney Channel.
