Yesterday, FreeCast announced their newest partnership, teaming up with mobile phone manufacturer ROKiT for a licensing deal that will give ROKiT customers a new way to watch TV on the go.
The licensing deal will give ROKiT customers access to ROK TV, a new branded version of FreeCast’s SmartGuide. According to FreeCast CEO William Mobley, “Our SmartGuide integrates content from around the web into a true wireless TV service available on all devices. That’s what we’re saying with ROKiT today: yes, you can take your TV service with you in your pocket.”
With the new app, customers will get access to a library of over 500,000 TV episodes, movies, streaming channels, live events, music videos, and more. Viewers will have the option of using a free version or paying for a premium version with more content.
The ROK Media Bundle is free for those with a ROKiT device.
