The CEO of FreeCast, William Mobley, went on record about the news: “We’re very excited to hear this kind of news and can’t wait for CBS & other broadcasters to go online. We have a couple million users who would buy this kind of service tomorrow if it were available.”
Change is coming faster then the networks are willing to adapt too. Ideally, any company that decides to move itself to full access of there content to the internet is moving toward the ideal online consumer experience. Content providers such as CBS need to move toward these types of solutions in order to fulfill the current demands of its online audiences who do not want to be forced into cable and satellite contracts. We know this by experience, everyday we have millions of subscribers streaming with us daily and we can’t wait for the networks to get on board. There is just to much great content that is easy to access and distribute to our subscribers.
