CEO – William A. Mobley, Jr. founded our Company in 2011 and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of our board of directors since then. Before founding FreeCast, in 1999, Mr. Mobley formed Nextelligence, Inc., a technology solution and business management expertise provider, of which he is the Chief Executive Officer, a director and majority shareholder. Additionally, between 1993 and 2008, Mr. Mobley founded and was an officer and director of a number of online business solution companies, including Web2 Corp, Personal Portals Online, and World Commerce Online a NASDAQ public company having reached $28 per share. Mr Mobley also was founder and/or director of two major online media companies, including MegaMedia Networks (MegaChannels.com) which was the first company to stream major motion pictures online for Sony, Warner Bros, and Miramax and ImageCafe.com a pioneer in DIY website builders which was acquired by Network Solutions/Verisign for $25M. Based on Mr. Mobley’s role as our founder, his position as the chief executive officer, and his executive level experience in Internet-based media industry, our board of directors believes that Mr. Mobley has the appropriate set of skills to serve and lead FreeCast, Inc through both its current business models and future innovations.
CFO – Jonathan D. Morris serves as our Chief Financial Officer since his appointment in May 2020. Mr. Morris has over 23 years of experience as a finance executive holding key leadership positions in financial management, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and both merchant banking and investment banking. Mr. Morris previously worked in various private family offices managing direct investments and special opportunities, where his primary responsibilities included the investment sourcing and long-term strategic partnerships with core stakeholders both domestically and internationally as well as serving as CFO of key portfolio investments. Prior to that, he served in technology, media and telecommunications with Blackstone Group and before that, he held positions within investment banking divisions of Credit Suisse. Mr. Morris began his career in the merchant banking division of Lombard, Odier et Cie, private bank in Switzerland. Mr. Morris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Georgetown University.
EVP Revenue Strategy & Brand Partnerships – Larry M Weeks came aboard FreeCast from Google where he was Head of Performance Teams and primarily helped Google deliver on its technology to its largest advertisers and significantly grow its eComm ad platform revenue. He created and managed multiple teams of digital performance engineers who helped clients produce over $800M in GMV annually. Mr. Weeks also provided strategy and best practice development to Google’s product and account teams some of which are public facing in the Adwords Help Center. Mr. Weeks hired, trained and oversaw multiple digital specialist teams across 3 continents (Americas, Europe and Asia) who provided support to Google’s largest advertiser accounts. Mr. Weeks worked cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Business Development and Engineering to ensure proper large client / advertiser support with performance parity for new platforms. Prior to Google, Mr. Weeks was Vice President of Channel Intelligence (CI), a successful start-up that used data-driven technical platforms that specialized in digital product data using a proprietary metadatabase. Leading manufacturers and global brands like Samsung, Apple, Target, Walmart, used CI to syndicate data across the web with our Where-To-Buy, Product Search Engine, and Programmatic Display platform services. At the time CI tracked and managed nearly 15 percent of all US transactions online and drove over $3B in sales annually in online in computing, home improvement, appliances, consumer electronics, toys and a variety of other consumer packaged goods.
EVP of Digital Content and Channel Distribution – Tracy J West joined FreeCast’s executive team, following years of consultation to well-known major broadcast networks, channel distributors, and television programmers. As FreeCast expands its own relationships with these same content owners, Mrs. West’s wide-ranging experience with this subject matter will be invaluable to those efforts. For over two decades, Mrs. West has provided her expertise to streaming technology providers NeuLion, and prior to that she was Vice President of DISH Network’s International Programming and Marketing division, a unit that she herself built from the ground up. At DISH Mrs. West was responsible for running a profitable and streamlined business including customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, operations, project management, packaging and pricing strategy, marketing, legal, IT and finance. Mrs. West successfully negotiated over 350 international channel agreements from 60 countries. Prior to DISH Networks Mrs. West was Director of Programming at EchoStar an American company, a worldwide provider of satellite communication and Internet services through its Hughes Network Systems and EchoStar Satellite Services business segments. Prior to 2008, it operated the DISH Network service brand, which was spun off as DISH on January 1, 2008.
EVP of Media and Network Partnerships – Irwin Podhajser comes aboard FreeCast where he will supervise media buying and major network partnerships for the company which is a unique entry into the “cable alternative” arena. Mr. Podhajser was previously the VP of Business Development for DTV America which held 450 television licenses throughout 118 top markets in the United States and distribution of media brands such as; Laff, Bounce, Movies!, Comet, GetTV, Escape, COZI, BUZZR, MyTV, QVC, Telemundo, Azteca, Estrella, Antenna TV, Decades, GRIT and many others.. Mr. Podhajser was responsible for programming each of these stations and creating strategic local partnerships that allow local organizations to have full access to their own television channel. Programming on these stations ranged from Spanish-language to general entertainment and healthily living. Under Mr. Podhasjer’s leadership, DTV America garnered distribution agreements with some of the nation’s largest content providers including, Comcast/NBC/Universal, FOX television, Sony Television, Katz Broadcasting, Tribune Media, Weigel Broadcasting Co, MGM, Sinclair Broadcast Group and Freemantle Media. DTV America was acquired in June 2017 and Majority owned by telecommunications conglomerate HC2 Holdings.
EVP of IOT and Partnership Sales – Roy A Labrador transitions to FreeCast as the former National Vice President of Channel Programs for Frontier Communications the nation’s 8th largest provider of broadband internet in the United States with 3,735,000 subscribers. It is also the 11th largest pay television provider in the United States with 838,000 subscribers. Mr. Labrador lead Frontier’s Business Edge sales efforts throughout the Southeast. Mr. Labrador’s teams sold communication solutions to small, medium and enterprise businesses, including broadband services, advanced business communication services, devices and Frontier secure digital protection solutions. Prior to Frontier Communication’s Mr. Labrador was an Executive with IBM-ZeroChaos where his responsibilities included managing all aspects of sales growth and retention of large global customers with locations around the globe. Covering North America, EMEAI and APAC territories. His team managed all RFI and RFP opportunities for both new business and to renew and implement changes as required while retaining a strong relationship with client spends over $200M a year in revenue. Mr. Labrador also held successful VP of Sales roles with Earthlink and Windstream Communications. Mr. Labrador will lead commercial licensing sales for Freecast to Broadband Providers, Wireless Carriers, and Hospitality/Multi-Dwelling Operators nationwide.
