Univision Communications extended its pact with Hulu to distribute five original series from Flama, the Hispanic broadcaster’s English-language over-the-top video network aimed at bicultural millennials.
The deal covers episodes of Flama’s new comedy series “Saving Lives,” which will appear weekly on Hulu, along with all episodes of originals “Taking on America,” “Drop the Mic with Becky G,” “Chachi’s Dance to Uforia” and “The Bodega.” The series are available on the free Hulu.com service, as well as to Hulu Plus subscribers on multiple platforms.
Flama, the digital network aimed at 15-to-30-year-old consumers that Univision launched last year, is also available on YouTube and Univision-owned destination TheFlama.com. Flama is produced in association with Bedrocket Media and has debuted more than 20 original series to date.
