FreeCast Introduces PayMeAds: Turn Ad Viewing into Credits Toward Streaming Bills

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FreeCast, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAST), a provider of streaming aggregation and media technology, today announced PayMeAds, a new loyalty rewards feature within MediaPay that allows eligible viewers to earn points for qualifying advertising minutes watched on free, ad-supported channels and redeem those points for credits toward eligible paid streaming subscriptions.

PayMeAds addresses a familiar frustration across the streaming community: consumers face multiple subscription bills, fragmented accounts, and advertising interruptions—even on services they pay to use. Choosing free or lower-priced, ad-supported programming can help manage costs, but still requires viewers to give their time to commercials.

The tension is documented. Deloitte’s 2025 Digital Media Trends survey found that 47% of consumers surveyed believed they paid too much for their streaming services. The research also identified frustration with advertising volume and quality, with most respondents reporting excessive repetition of ads on streaming video services and cable.

PayMeAds creates a connection between the time consumers spend watching advertising and the money they spend on streaming subscriptions. Eligible viewers can turn qualifying ad viewing on FreeCast’s participating free channels into credits applied through the same MediaPay account used to pay their eligible streaming bills.

“Consumers are trying to stretch their entertainment budgets while navigating more subscriptions, more accounts, and commercials across both free and paid services,” said William Mobley, founder and CEO of FreeCast. “With PayMeAds, we’re giving qualifying ad viewing an additional purpose. Viewers can enjoy free channels, earn rewards, and apply those rewards toward paid streaming subscriptions through MediaPay. Their time can help offset their streaming costs.”

Giving Viewers More Value for Their Attention

Advertising makes free television possible and helps support lower-priced subscription options. For consumers, however, its value can feel disconnected from the bills they continue to receive.

PayMeAds launching December 1st in time for holiday viewing audiences, is designed to make that value more direct and usable. Rather than limiting rewards to access within a single channel or programming service, the feature connects qualifying free-channel ad viewing with eligible subscription payments managed through FreeCast’s MediaPay.

For viewers balancing free television with paid subscriptions, that creates a practical benefit: watching qualifying advertising in one part of their streaming experience can help offset costs in another.

The program works in four steps:

• Watch: View qualifying advertising on participating free, ad-supported channels through FreeCast.
• Earn: Accumulate PayMeAds points based on eligible advertising minutes watched.
• Redeem: Exchange points for MediaPay credits at the program’s applicable redemption rate.
• Apply: Use those credits toward eligible paid streaming subscriptions billed through MediaPay.

Reward amounts depend on qualifying activity and program terms. Credits may offset a portion of eligible subscription costs; the program does not guarantee that viewing rewards will cover an entire subscription payment.

MediaPay: Manage Streaming Spending—and Earn Credits Toward It

PayMeAds adds a new benefit to MediaPay’s existing payment and subscription management tools:

• Virtual Mastercard number: Pay supported streaming providers without giving each provider a personal credit card or bank account number.
• Reduced exposure of personal payment information: Limit the number of streaming services holding sensitive personal payment details.
• One account, one monthly bill: Consolidate eligible streaming subscription payments.
• Subscription control: Start, pause, restart, or cancel supported subscriptions, subject to provider terms and available functionality.
• PayMeAds rewards: Earn points for qualifying ad viewing and redeem them for credits toward eligible streaming bills.

“Streaming frustration goes beyond finding something to watch. It includes what consumers pay, how many accounts they manage, and how much advertising they encounter along the way,” Mobley added. “MediaPay brings payment and subscription control together. PayMeAds adds the opportunity to earn credits toward those payments, giving consumers another way to get value from their streaming experience.”

PayMeAds supports FreeCast’s broader strategy of bringing free programming, paid streaming, content discovery, advertising, and payment management into a unified platform. The feature is designed to give viewers an additional reason to engage with participating free channels while managing their paid entertainment spending through MediaPay.

PayMeAds availability, qualifying channels and advertisements, earning rates, redemption thresholds, credit use, and any applicable limits or expiration provisions are governed by the program’s published terms.
