FreeCast Names FOX, CBS, NBC and Scripps Advertising Veteran Larry Watzman to Advance Zer0Gap Ads Streaming Monetization Platform

Award-Winning Executive Brings More Than 15 Years of Experience Across FOX, Scripps, TEGNA's CBS and NBC Affiliates to FreeCast's Expanding Streaming Advertising Business

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FreeCast, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAST), a provider of next-generation streaming technology and enterprise Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, today announced the appointment of Larry Watzman as Streaming Advertising Manager, supporting the continued development and commercialization of the company's proprietary Zer0Gap Ads digital advertising platform.

Watzman brings more than 15 years of experience in television broadcasting, advertising, creative services, digital media, and brand development, including senior leadership roles with some of America's most recognized television network affiliates and media organizations.

His career includes serving as Vice President of Marketing & Creative Services for FOX (WOFL-TV), Creative Director of Marketing for The E.W. Scripps Company, and creative leadership positions with TEGNA's CBS and NBC affiliates.

Throughout his career, Watzman has directed multimillion-dollar creative operations, developed revenue-generating commercial campaigns, and led advertising and promotional strategies across traditional broadcast television, digital platforms, social media, and streaming services.

His work has earned significant industry recognition, including 21 Emmy Awards, 30 Telly Awards, and seven Promax Awards.

Bringing Major Network Advertising Experience to Streaming Monetization

Watzman's appointment comes as FreeCast advances its Zer0Gap Ads platform, a proprietary advertising technology initiative designed to help connect advertisers, media inventory, and audiences across an increasingly fragmented digital video marketplace.

Unlike traditional advertising models that rely on individual television networks or streaming applications, FreeCast's broader technology strategy is designed to aggregate entertainment discovery and distribution opportunities across multiple platforms, devices, and enterprise relationships.

Zer0Gap Ads is intended to provide advertising monetization capabilities within this ecosystem, creating opportunities for advertisers to reach audiences while enabling participating media partners to generate additional revenue from their programming and distribution relationships.

In his new position, Watzman will focus on developing streaming advertising opportunities, supporting advertiser and agency relationships, coordinating creative advertising initiatives, and helping expand commercial opportunities across FreeCast's advertising ecosystem.

His extensive experience integrating television programming, commercial production, brand strategy, and digital advertising provides a valuable foundation for FreeCast's evolving advertising business.

FreeCast CEO: Connecting Traditional Advertising Expertise With the Future of Streaming

William "Bill" Mobley, Founder and CEO of FreeCast, commented:

"Television advertising has historically been built around the ability to reach audiences at scale. Today, those audiences are increasingly fragmented across streaming applications, connected devices, and digital platforms."

"Larry brings something particularly valuable to FreeCast: firsthand experience from the major broadcast networks and media companies that helped build the television advertising industry. He understands the relationships between programming, audience engagement, advertisers, creative execution, and revenue generation."

"With Zer0Gap Ads, we're developing technology designed to bring many of those advertising opportunities together within a more unified streaming environment. Larry's experience across FOX, CBS, NBC, and Scripps makes him an excellent addition as we work to expand the commercial capabilities of our platform."

Expanding the Revenue Potential of FreeCast's Enterprise Platform

FreeCast's business model extends beyond providing consumer streaming services. Through its enterprise PaaS technology, the company enables telecommunications providers, internet service providers, wireless operators, satellite companies, and other organizations to offer branded streaming and entertainment experiences to their existing customers.

The platform combines television discovery, streaming content, subscription management, advertising, and commerce within a unified software environment.

Zer0Gap Ads represents an important component of this strategy, designed to create advertising revenue opportunities across participating streaming services and enterprise distribution relationships.

As FreeCast expands its distribution ecosystem, the company believes its advertising technology can help participating partners develop additional monetization opportunities without requiring them to build and maintain independent advertising technology infrastructure.

Watzman's background in broadcast advertising, creative production, and commercial revenue development will support FreeCast's efforts to translate those capabilities into advertiser relationships and monetization opportunities.

Larry Watzman on Joining FreeCast

"I'm excited to join FreeCast at a time when television advertising is undergoing such a significant transformation," said Watzman.

"Having spent much of my career working with major broadcast networks and media organizations, I've seen how valuable the relationship between content, audiences, and advertisers can be."

"FreeCast's Zer0Gap Ads platform presents an opportunity to apply that experience to the evolving streaming marketplace. I look forward to helping develop advertising solutions that create value for brands, content providers, distribution partners, and viewers."
